This is glass that is South Jersey that I do not have a dedicated page for.
If it is not South Jersey it has been blown in the South Jersey style and tradition.
Some of these pieces I can not attribute to any specific company.

Glass workers moved from South Jersey and their style naturally went with them.  This caused the South Jersey styles (tradition) to be blown all thru the north-east.  If you have thoughts on any particular piece I would be happy to discuss it with you.

A nice green colored paneled vase It stands 5 1/2" tall and is about 4" in diameter.  It has a rough 3/4" pontil that is recessed.  I count 14 panels.  Light wear from about 50? Years.

Price $15.00

A very nice set of two sticks all freeblown in green.  They are 6 3/8" tall.  The bases are 2 3/8" in diameter.  Some air bubbles.  A very nice set in very good to excellent condition.

Price $20.00

A pedestaled vase standing 6 " tall with a 3 1/4" base.  Nice blue color with plenty of air and pot stone.  The base and pedestal are freeblown and attached.

Price $20.00

AN ALLAGATOR OR CROCKADILE in clear glass. It was blown by Louis (Louie) Giacomelli from south New Jersey. HE IS FAMOUS FOR MAKING FREE-BLOWN GLASS ANIMALS. It is about 8 ½" long and the tail is snapped. This is where he held the glass while working with it, not damage! A very nice example of his work!

Price $25.00

A free-blown gemel bottle or flask, aqua color, from early 1800's, south Jersey origin. These may have been used to hold oil and vinegar? 7 3/4" long. Made by making two flat ovoid shaped bottles and then fastening them together, it has a rough snapped pontil on the bottom. This one will NOT stand on end. A little dirty but not bad. I have never tried to clean the bottle. A great example of South Jersey history and getting very hard to find! No chips, cracks or flea bites!

Price $225.00

Freeblown hen eggs considered a glass whimsey (whimsie, whimsy). These were used to induce chickens to lay more eggs. Considered an utilitarian item but getting hard to find now. These are about the size of large chicken eggs, about 2 ¼" long and 1 ¾" in diameter. Both have small dimples on the end (pontil) where they were snapped from the rod. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or flea bites. A great piece of hard to find history.

Price $20.00
